MY REVIEW -

After reading her side of the story – I knew I needed to know his.

There is nothing more refreshing than to read a man’s POV -someone who’s confused, fighting his feelings, and finally admitting he’s smitten and not knowing what to do with the fact.

After William Price was assigned to a partner for a class project on his sixth grade – he gained a best friend for life. Not only that, but he gained a family as well. Coming from a home with a father busy on his business trips and a mother who drowns herself in grief after the death of his sister, being with the Miller’s was a breath of fresh air. He ends up spending more time at their small home, rather than at his.

At first, he tried to fight off the attraction. They were best friends after all. He might endanger their friendship and lose Sarah forever. He tried to go on dates, give his attention to others, but he always go back to her. The moment his girlfriend would make him chose, he wouldn’t hesitate to choose his best friend. When other guys start to notice her, he decided to make his move. This was now or never!

Just as when they were having the time of their lives – she left without any explanation. Will was left heartbroken and lost. How can he move on when ‘the one’ got away without even much of a goodbye?

Seven years passed, Will was given another chance to get her back. He’s got one whole week to finally know what went wrong between the two of them, to straight things straight, win her and make her his for good. Sarah is not making it any simpler, but Will is willing to crawl, or grovel back into her graces. Will he be given a second chance or will he let the love of his life slip away for the second time??

Since reading HIM – not only I fell in love with the covers but with the characters as well. What best way to start a love story than two great people being very good friends. Will and Sarah had an amazing friendship, if she had only trusted HIM more rather than ran away. After all, they had been friends for a very long time, he could just have asked him! It would save them the agony of being apart for seven years.

What I love about HER is the fact that it’s chronological. It doesn’t goes back and forth from the present to the past and vice versa, so it makes it easy for me to read as the story once again unfolds from my eyes. But this time, Ms. Heywood gives us the HEA we have all wanted for the both of them. If you have read HIM and find it irresistible, you need to read HER and get inside Will’s brain – because the series has just gotten better. Despite the fact I have an idea of what’s going to happen, there are still a few surprises here and there that will make you swoon. It’s sweet, and soft on the heart.
