MY REVIEW -
Ever since she got out of the abusive relationship she had with her ex-husband Gary, she had spent some time gardening and made some amazing projects out of it. Now if only her ex doesn’t show up on her house unannounced – everything would have been perfect.
Lindsey is in trouble. Again.
She’s a stalker. Yikes. Or almost like one because she can’t help herself but to go after the office hottie, Rhys who had been the object of her obsession ever since. Her thoughts would often linger to dreamland when he’s around, making her toes curl, making her hot, and making her panties damp with desire. And when he starts to finally notice her, and kiss her all of a sudden – her life became suddenly a roller coaster, a good, wild ride that had left her satiated, happy, filled with adrenaline and also confused.
Because this guy may be hot, and one of god’s gift to women – but he doesn’t do commitment. Not to mention this guy doesn’t do women like her – she might not be ugly, but she’s full-figured and short while he ALWAYS goes out with Barbie girls. Between booty calls and great sex, Rhys can be a great guy. But after the kind of relationship she had with Gary, is she willing to sell herself short and settle for something less?
Lindsey knew what she wants, and she’s not afraid to say it – but to act on it, oh she’s poor in that. She doesn’t have the power to refuse Rhys. He may parade unintentionally women from his past – but generally he’s a decent guy who never fail to make her feel good about herself. Question is though – she knew HE LOVES HER, but why can’t HE BE WITH HER? What’s keeping him from committing to him?
LD Davis gave me one hell of a rollercoaster ride. It was hot, sweet, funny and frustrating at times. They may have been some mistakes made, some words that isn’t meant to be spoken, and not to mention dark secret from Rhys. It may have took a while for the both of them, especially for Rhys to know what he finally wants in life, but everything was worth it.
