While Kate struggles with the intense feelings she thinks she has for Drew, Luke discovers Kate’s been hired to plan his brother’s destination wedding. He also realizes the initial sparks they shared 30,000 feet up are now mistakenly aimed at Drew.
Can Luke get Kate to realize that the feelings she has are for him? He’s got forty-eight hours in paradise to try.
Sensuality Level: Behind Closed Doors
Getting married in Hawaii is a dream come-true for heiress Lauren Kincaid, and A-List wedding Planner Kate Ashby is trying to get rid of her fear of flying to get to Hawaii in one piece and turn her dreams to reality.
It helped a bit seated beside a hot stranger, who seemed nice and try to talk her out of her discomfort after an initial shock of her clumsiness. What she didn't expect was the surprising kiss that had her vodka-induced mind spinning - and just like magic, her nerves calmed down.
It didn't help to know once she landed in Hawaii that the guy whom he introduced himself as Drew - was the groom. He didn't seem to remember the kiss and the connection they shared on board.
Future Toy Mogul and CEO Luke Cannon traded seats with his identical twin, Drew while flying to Hawaii. Little did he know that the kiss he shared with the beautiful seatmate while pretending he was his twin would create mass confusion.
Kate thought that she kissed the groom and she tries her best to pretend that nothing happened - after all, Drew didn't even acknowledge what they shared, so why bother? Then here comes Luke, the twin brother who tried his best to get to know her, talking to her, and finally kissing her. OMG. Their kissed felt the same. There is something fishy going on around here, and Kate intends to find out.
Luke knew he had to find away for Kate to realize that the magic was between the two of them, rather than with Drew. He has 48 hours to prove it to her. It didn't help when his father and her mother came to give them some news, coupled with an ex girlfriend who can't seem to get over him. Would he ever get the girl of his dreams before everything comes crashing down the ground?
Two hot twins, paradise setting, familiar plot - Destination Wedding is one great package. I like the characters, especially Luke (although I wished he could have been honest from the start to save them from all the drama and troubles). He's the responsible twin, and he takes care of Drew most of the time when they were younger since their father was drowning with grief. I like the surprises and the twists - I understand Kate's frustrations. I also like Lauren, and it was hard for me to understand Drew and his decision. I wish the both of them will have their story and their own HEA as well!
Destination Wedding is an easy read. Robyn Neeley will captivate you with great characters, unforeseen surprises and awesome wedding proposals that will make you sigh. She will make you fall in love over, and over again. Can't wait for her next book!
Honesty is important in a relationship, its the building blocks of trust. Don't do something you're not really sure of. Once decision is made - you need to realize that there is no going back - you have made your point, already hurt someone along the way and you need to live with the consequences.
