What happens in Vegas – can be really
crazy!
Natalie Mason can’t believe when she
woke up without her virginity, with a ring on her finger and MARRIED to a man
she just met. Granting that Mac Carter is uber hot, rich, oozing with sex
appeal, not to mention a gentleman, she was still shocked when she learned she
was no longer single.
Natalie had so much baggage from her
past. She lost her parents in an accident, and her sister as well. Her
boyfriend had left her when he was needed the most. She is just trying to pick
up the pieces of her life when she met him. But meeting him was fate – more like
magic, because they instantly hit it off. The chemistry was undeniable, so was
the intense attraction.
They have both experience loss in
their lives, and Nat was not sure if she was ready to risk her heart. But with
wooing, grand gestures and several HOT kisses, she was in trouble. She decided
to give Mac a chance.
But there’s this psycho ex who wanted
Mac for herself and would have him no matter what the cost. She didn’t get the memo that they have already
broken up. Nat, on the other hand, has to face the man responsible for her

They were sure they were meant to be

Beholden To You is a short, sweet
read. I like the two characters, their instant connection, and their
willingness to give each other a chance to explore whatever their feeling. Nat
might have some doubts at first, but in the end, she took the plunge. I was
hanging on their, watching how their love blossomed, and waiting for the night
in Vegas to have a repeat performance. I so admire Mac’s patience and
self-control to wait for Nat to be ready, and to respect her wishes. He’s one
heck of a guy. But what I like most about this story is how their maneuvered through
their complicated past, and still be together after all that has happened,
despite knowing each other for such a short while.
Beholden To You tells us a story about
how a newly blossoming love can equal the strength and steadfastness of a
long-time relationship. It doesn’t matter if you just met – but when you feel
that this person is meant for you, and you fully give your trust and that
person returns the favor, the relationship will have the chance to prosper.

She looked so open and carefree, that all I wanted to do was scoop her into my arms and kiss her. “I’m going to lay my cards on the table, no pun intended. I like you. I have from the moment you walked into the Statton’s kitchen. I’d like for us to get to know each other better and I want to start dating you when we return to San Diego. How do you feel about that?”
Natalie looked down at her hands for a moment. When she looked up at me she had a coy smile on her face. “I’d like that.”
I was so happy I acted on impulse. I leaned in and kissed her, gently at first, but then I couldn’t hold back and I invaded her mouth with my tongue, stroking hers in an erotic dance. My hands found her waist and I pulled her toward me, positioning her on top of me, her legs straddling my hips. She kissed me back with a passion I hadn’t experienced before, like she had been dying to be kissed and I was the cure. I untied her robe and slid my hands around her ribs. She was wearing a tank top and boxers. I debated running my hands over her breasts, but in light of her inexperience, I didn’t want to move too fast. So I just continued kissing her, pulling her body close to mine as she moaned in my mouth, causing my blood to overheat. I wanted her and I wanted her bad.
Natalie pulled away and said, “We should slow down. I’m not ready to go this fast.” Her face was flushed, and her breathing, ragged.
I looked into her beautiful blue eyes and moved her hair off her face. “All I want to do is kiss you. Hold you. I don’t want to do anything you are going to feel uncomfortable with. I’m not in any hurry.”
