MY REVIEW -

She might be four years younger than him, but Zoey had been Jericho’s best friend since then. After finishing his PhD in Archeology, he went back home to Cupid, finding his best friend much more irresistible than the last time he saw her. Problem is – Zoey is one flighty girl.

She is a jack of all trades and a master of none. She would start something and then get bored with it. So much with relationships, Jericho’s reluctance to be with her stems from the fact that she couldn’t maintain a relationship. What if he risks his heart, and Zoey suddenly gets bored with him? They would be putting their friendship on the drain.

Zoey is a butterfly and is not the type of girl who would just sit down and wait. She has a lot of broken heart left in her past. She didn’t want to settle down yet, but how can she possibly resist the love of her life??

I may not have like Zoey that much because of her personality, but Jericho is one amazing guy. They had feelings for each other, but there were never given the perfect opportunity to really be with each other. He thought being back in Cupid would solve all this problems, but no, he just applied for a teaching position in the university, and guess what? Zoey is going to be his student. She needed to prove to everyone she wouldn’t quit – but how much more can she resist him??

Surrounded with legends, an old mystery and some interesting characters, Somebody to Love is not a book to ignore. It could be frustrating at times, especially how stubborn Zoey can get, but nevertheless, I still had fun reading it.
