Brash by Nicola Marsh - Book Review

Jess Harper is so tired of being good…

Thrust into the dazzle of Burlesque Bombshells, Vegas’s premier dance venue, the small town librarian has no option but to embrace her inner vixen.

Especially when blast from her past, sexy Aussie celebrity chef Jack McVeigh is still determined to keep their relationship strictly hands-off.

This time Jess isn’t surrendering without a fight and armed with her hot props and Bombshell moves, Jack doesn’t stand a chance.

When Jess and Jack are sequestered on an island to orchestrate the burlesque wedding of the year, sun, surf and sizzling sex are on the menu!

But will the fiery couple come back for seconds?

REVIEW-

Reading BEFORE had me panting for this series!!!

Before was the appetizer, and now, I just got the main dish. If this couple is exasperating in the former book, wait until you get a hold of this one. You would probably want to chop Jack’s hands for him to grow some senses.

Honor is good – but when you’re about to let go of something good because of it, you need to weigh the consequences and everything in between before you do it. Jack owes Reid Harper a lot, and in order to repay him, even in a small, subtle way – he stayed away from Jess. He did it in the past, and he’s going to do it again ten years after. How hard can it be?

What he didn’t expect is Jess Harper was no longer the same Jess he rejected back in Aussie. This Jess Harper was more aggressive, knows exactly what she wants and oh-so-sexy. He wonders if he’s strength is enough to resist the girl of his dreams, especially when they are thrown into an island together to plan for the wedding of the year.

I was wondering when would he finally give up his bro-code before he jumps at her… I was having the time of my life watching him salivating over Jess.

Serves him right for being righteous. .. All he had to do was talk to Reid, brothers would always appreciate honesty and can smell predators easily. He is sincere with his feelings, he just needed to come clean, before Jess ran out of costumes and of time.

What I love about this series is that the books are short, but the fun, and romance isn’t lacking. Looking forward for the next Burlesque Bombshell book in the series!
