THEIR HEARTBREAKING PAST WILL MOVE YOU. THEIR PASSION WILL MAKE YOU BLUSH. THEIR ANTICS WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD.

Colin is one of those gorgeous guys who attract women, no matter the age or marital status. With a successful career at a popular Seattle radio station, hard body, and charming personality, he is the complete package. But something dark lurks in the corners of his soul; some murky experience that has changed him—maybe for the better, but maybe for the worse.
Will he steal her heart and stomp over it like other guys did?
Will she let him into her heavily fortified world despite herself?
Or will they settle somewhere in the middle—establishing the emotional boundaries to protect them from falling in love?

Natalie
and her friends are successful girls having bad luck with love. They are torn
between risking their hearts or just settling on a friend-with-benefits
situation. I loved them all, their humor, their camaraderie and even their
issues, most especially Caroline’s. She had me grinning from ear to ear, and
trying my best to contain my laughter in the wee hours of the morning.
Natalie
had been torn by men before. She had losers for a boyfriend – a good guy is such
a rare commodity, that even her, who runs a dating services for executives can’t
find her match. She doesn’t trust men, until Colin Hampton came into her office
and swept her off her feet.
Their
first meeting – it was just EPIC. I can just picture out her horrified
expression and Colin’s wicked grin vividly in my mind.
Colin
is a chic magnet, with a great career at a popular Seattle radio station. He has
a whole lot of talents, he’s sexy, and a very charming personality. He’s the
perfect package if not for the dark past he’s trying to keep and to get away
from. It had scarred him for life, and left him traumatized.
Nevertheless,
despite their baggage, you will love these two characters, including the girls
in the series: Jena, Caroline and Ali. They are a crazy bunch that will keep
you smiling throughout the novels. Their naughty antics will have you laughing
your hearts out in no time.
In
the first book, we watch this two trying to fight off their attraction, but
eventually gave in to it. I like that Natalie was cautious about everything,
but not really to the point of paranoia, she just have some concerns. At least
she doesn’t jump into decisions, and prefers to take baby steps. As for Colin –
I admire his patience and his willingness to wait until she was, ummm… ready.
But what I would love more is to get inside his brains.
I
fell in love with the covers, and the promise of laughter and romance as well.
Almost Bad Boys had me blushing and laughing, and thank goodness it is short
enough to read in one sitting.

Just
when everything seems getting okay with our two love-birds, there’s a stalker
that threatens Colin’s life. And Natalie’s stubbornness wouldn’t allow her to
step aside and let the proper authorities handle the danger. She meets someone
unexpectedly, a Russian mobster’s hot girlfriend – Svetlana. She was the
biggest surprise in this novel, and at first, I wasn’t really sure whether to
trust her or not. But she helped Natalie with some problems, and even, in a
way, saved her life – so she got major points for it.
The
big danger – it was the twist I didn’t see coming. A little sick, a little startling,
and a little dangerous – I was waiting for what will he be doing to our main
characters, and when it finally came, Jena just dampen all my adrenaline rush
and had me laughing with her antics. OMG. My rush seemed to have transferred to
her.
I
think I enjoyed the second book more – because 1) it opened with Colin’s past,
and finally I understood what happened in the near end of Almost Matched. 2) It
is more action-packed with surprising twists, 3) a lot of jaw-dropping scenes
that had me really laughing 4) steamier – from the first chapter down to the
very last – COLIN, YUMMY!
If
I loved this second book more – my expectations just went high for the third
book in the series! :D

If
you love Natalie’s girlfriends, wait until you meet Helga’s group – they are
way beyond fun and naughty. I’m always glad to see old people happy, and still
living life and Helga’s group are doing just that.
Colin’s
bringing Natalie to his great grandma’s birthday party, and everything went
smoothly as plan until Helga mysteriously disappears which causes all the
havocs. Calls and police reports were made, and Natalie’s girlfriends,
including Svetlana and her Russian goons came into the rescue. And Natalie,
once again, almost got herself into trouble, this time with the law…
As
for Colin, couldn’t think I could love him much more until I read that he does
his own laundry. How can anyone be that sexy washing clothes?? Arghh. It’s a
major sin!!! In this book you will see the other side of Colin – him with his
family, and him, finally taking that blind step of giving his trust to another
person.
If
I am too summarize this book: its one great adventure with a sprinkle of a
little sleuthing, drop in a couple of steamy scenes and one good laugh trip –
got myself a great short read.
