Love Love by Beth Michele - Book Tour, Book Spotlight, Review, Giveaway

Book: Love Love
Author: Beth Michele
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Gabrielle Willis is smart. She's funny. And oh yes, she's a bit klutzy.

When Gabrielle left sunny California bound for the energy of Manhattan, she was willingly leaving the life she had known for the new life she would create. But was she really leaving something behind or was she running away?

On the outside, Gabrielle Willis has it all under control. A new life in Manhattan, a great roommate, and a good job. But she is haunted. Haunted by a memory she's tried to forget and by a family who's abandoned her. But what happens when what's on the outside is only an illusion and in perfect contradiction to what's buried deep within?

Enter Dane Rhodes. He's gorgeous, smart, and sexy as hell. Just what Gabby wants, or so she thinks. But when she meets Brad Dixon, the sweet guy with the crooked smile, he begins to make her see that the very thing she is trying to run from is the very thing that just may push her to see the light.

**New Adult Contemporary Romance. Due to language & sexual content, this book is recommended for readers 17 & older**

Man in Suit or the Cute Barista?

Like Gabby – I too am torn at first. I always admire a guy in suit – they look good enough to eat but my heart goes out to the cute barista with an easy smile and friendly face. So there – I’m totally #TeamBrad!!!

Gabby is an amazing girl who fails to acknowledge it because she grew up in a crappy home with a mother who seemed to notice her imperfections rather than her qualities. She’s intelligent, hardworking, funny and yes, a little bit klutz.

Right after graduation, she left home and decided to work in Manhattan. Either she was running away from her dysfunctional home or a painful memory of a broken heart. Gabby had an amazing love story just before graduation – it was almost perfect. Then fate intervened – she was never the same again. It left her hallow inside, all she wanted to feel was numbness.

Here comes the man in suit – Dane Rhodes. Yes, yes, he’s good enough to eat. He’s super hunk, smart and definitely sexy. Gabby thinks she wants him – then here comes the cutie barista from the coffee shop she frequented, Brad.  He’s very sweet and thoughtful. He became a friend to her. But Brad makes her feel – and its scaring the hell out of Gabby. Will she be able to move from her past and finally find happiness? Or will it be too late for her?

I like how the story developed between Gabby and Brad – how the friendship built, and the wooing was done –the sexual tension, the emotion was built up slowly, just like what Gabby needs. Brad took his time in pursuing Gabby. He was totally romantic at heart. He didn’t hurry her, and when she finally opened up – it was just magic. His patience, humor and understanding were simply the best! He’s definitely one in a million.

Love, Love is definitely a fantastic read. You will fall in love, laugh, and swoon at the romantic moments. You will definitely root for the characters, like the best friend, Fran who’s always there for Gabby since they were young. She helps Gabby cope and coaxes her to get out of her shell. Brad too – after reading this, you’d wished you’ll find someone like him who will wait and woo you like you are the most beautiful girl in the world, and lastly Gabby – who finally found love once again, gained the confidence, and became a better person because of the unconditional love that was shown to her.

Beth Michele is a wife, a mom, an author and a lover of all things chocolate, well, anything sweet really. While stuffing chocolate in her face, she enjoys reading young adult and new adult novels furiously, and spending time with her husband and two adorable children who keep her on her painted toes. Those same children who inspire her to tell silly stories that cause hysterical giggles to tumble from their bellies. Beth is a hopeless romantic and a happily ever after fanatic who loves to write about love.

We’re all damaged, right? It’s what we make of the wreckage that matters.
“Have you ever been kissed by a superhero before?” My mouth won’t move, so I simply shake my head back and forth. His eyes are burning up my lips as he breathes, “because you’ve never been truly kissed until you’ve been kissed by a superhero.”
“I’ve been waiting my whole life for your kiss.”
It’s amazing what the body can feel when accompanied by the heart.
