I am trying to recall what I have written the first time I typed it on my
computer - :D)
It’s a familiar plot that never gets old. Best friends
falling in love have been one of my favorites, who better else to trust your
heart with than the person whom you can trust thoroughly. Navy Seal Steven
Thomas and Lauren Brixton have been best friends for too long that they knew
each other’s quirks and all. What they didn’t expect is that one night, sparks
would just ignite, and they have crossed the boarders. Things would never be
the same again.
They were just epic together, I guess it’s pent up
attraction + lust = mighty explosion right there. I love it when they’re
together. It was like they were so meant to be (in and out of bed), although
they were trying to fight it at first. But no one understands him better or her
better than the other.
Steven Thomas hated liars – and every type of lies, even
white lies. You might think that he’s just overreacting, but once you know his
story, you’d realize that his hatred for it goes deeper. So, it might irked me
a bit about his actions with regards to Lauren (even with a valid reason on her
side), but I understood. Good thing, he was able to realize his mistake and was
able to rectify it.
Nevertheless, I was glad to see Holt and Lydia as well. I
still love the both of them – they were causing some trouble for our love birds
in the story, but they brought loads of fun too with their meddling.
It’s a story about love, friendship and trust. It’s a
short, sexy and entertaining read that can lit up your readers and your sheets.
