HOLDING ONTO YOU by S. Moose - Book Tour, Book Review, Giveaway

Losing my best friend was the worst feeling in the world. I always wondered what she was doing and how she was doing but I never went after her. I never took the time to find out how she was doing and that broke my heart into a million pieces. Not only did I lose my best friend but I lost the love of my life.

Now, four years later, I am back in North Carolina and find myself longing to see her smile and feel her touch.

One day, she finally sees me and our eyes connect. The connection is still there. She can still make me weak at the knees and she still holds my heart and soul.

Things are different. She is dating my teammate Kyle and I hate him. Not for dating my Sophia but for being the worst person imaginable. But I vow to make her mine again. Welcome to my mind and life. My story about finally seeing Sophia again and how I will always be holding onto her.

We have all heard Sophia’s side of the story, and now it is Adam’s turn to be heard.
He was in a bad light when everyone thought of him leaving Sophia when she needed him the most. Now, we were brought back to that moment and finally made to see what made Adam leave. He was young, he felt useless, helpless, it overwhelmed him. Which I completely understood because he didn’t suffer the same loss as she did, and not knowing what to do or say in front of someone you care the most, making her feel okay can be a bit frustrating. But he didn’t leave completely, he was still here – texting her, asking her to go to him just in case she needed him. Sophia, however, already made the scene which caused a humongous wall to sprout between them and for their friendship to break.
But now he’s back, and he will do everything to prove to Sophia that he’s here to stay. Problem is – Sophia now belongs to someone else.
Holding Onto You is in Adam’s POV – this thoughts, his side of the story. We get to know him intimately as we gain access to his thoughts. Although I wanted it more than anything else in the world, I wished it could have been longer or the sequel of the story. It is a short read and can be finished in one sitting. Nevertheless, reading this story is a nice treat for fans of Never Letting Go Series.

She touched my arm and my whole body went into near shock. Something was very different. Why was she touching me and why was she smiling at me. The fear she had with me before seemed to have disappeared. “I’m glad you decided to come here too.” We continued walking in silence. There was a lot I wanted to say to her but I couldn’t find the words. It felt good walking with her and being so close to her. We walked a little more until we came across a building.  “Thanks for walking with me today. It was fun.”

I live in Webster, NY with my husband. I graduated from St. John Fisher College with my BA in 2011. I love writing and it's always been a dream of mine to publish my work. Reading is a passion of mine and the recent self publishing authors have inspired me to do the same. When I’m not writing or reading, you can find me with my family and friends.
I want to inspire others with my words the way I have been inspired through countless works of literature. I think that everyone has a purpose in life, it just takes time to find it.

Adam and Sophia were best friends but when tragedy strikes it's more than Adam can handle and he leaves Sophia alone in the dark.

Four years later, Adam and Sophia are reunited and the sparks between them return but is it too late?
