I don’t know whether to shake Paige Walker or to applaud
her. All I know is, she’s got a whole lot of patience, not to mention
determination. Perhaps, knowing someone is the ONE would push you to do great
things, and to wait for it to happen. Because he doesn’t like writing letters,
their communication was somewhat poor, but Paige’s hope didn’t falter. Her
packages and letters didn’t stop. That’s why she was quite hurt when he was
back in town and he didn’t even bother to tell her.
How can you break someone’s heart? Aiden Marshall just came
from the most dangerous corners of the world and he survived. Some of his
friends didn’t. It broke his soul, and he was giving up. When he returns home
to Sweet, Texas he was fairly certain that the right thing to do was to be
upfront to the woman who was patiently waiting for him, to move on.
But he didn’t realize that Paige could be a little
stubborn, and a little determined to make him see that life isn’t all that bad.
What she initiated - what the whole community did for Aiden was totally
touching. Will it change Aiden’s mind though?
I love the determination and patience that Paige has – it
was really admirable. Love indeed can work wonders, despite the distance, the
time and lack of communication, it just proves that true love can survive every
odds that is thrown at them.
I always love short, sweet and romantic tale that I can
finish in one sitting. This is one of those. Candis Terry sure knows how to
melt hearts in less than one hundred fifty pages.

Candis Terry was born and raised near the sunny beaches of
Southern California and now makes her home on an Idaho farm. She’s experienced
life in such diverse ways as working in a Hollywood recording studio to chasing
