Book Review | Misconception by Morgan Black

23296441

The Finnegan brothers are bound to hurt any girl that gets between them. But that doesn't stop Lena. She loves pain with her pleasure. When things get too hot for her to handle, she does the only thing she can do to protect herself... she runs away.

Three years later, Lena is back in town for her father's wedding. She prays she can avoid her past, hoping nobody remembers her parents’ messy divorce or how she disappeared. However, as soon as she arrives, she finds she can't run from her past anymore.

There's no escaping the Finnegan brothers. Not this time.

My review

It’s fast-paced read and the content is as sexy as the cover itself. This is the first book in the series – it might be a little short, since it’s a serial but the ending would made you crave for more.

Here we met Lena, who’s in love with her boyfriend, Blake but at the same time couldn’t help to feel an attraction to his brother, Slade. When her parents decide to finally get a divorce, she found herself doing something she didn’t know she was capable of. Perhaps it was desperation, a seek for comfort, or finally the attraction was just too hard to resist. In the end, Lena, her sister and mother left and didn’t come back. Until her father’s wedding to another woman.

Lena prays she wouldn’t came across with the Finnegan brothers, but I guess fate has other things in mind. Bumping into one of them is a little hard on her, but two of them? With the secret hanging above them? Indeed, an interesting ending to top it all…
