A Perfect Series had captured my attention the moment I started
reading the first book, and I fell in love with every Outlaw triplet I came
across with. This time, it is Brax turn! He’s stubborn, a little bit hotheaded
and a great chef. He can cook mean meals that would make your mouth water in
simply reading about it. Ever since he was already captivated by the perfect
little rich girl, River Pearl Sutton. But he knew where he stand, and even
though her kiss was something he could never forget as long as he lives, he
will do everything in his power to resist her.
But his resisting will just be futile. Because if you
think he’s stubborn, wait until you see the persuasiveness and determination of
River Pearl. She might be a princess and was used to life of pampering, but
when it comes to getting what she really wants, she really worked hard for it.
She was the perfect child model, and her growing success all over the world
pushed her into the life she never really wanted.
A speech for the Founder’s Day Festival had brought these
two together. She wanted to do something different for this year’s speech. How long
can Braxton Outlaw resist the girl that he has been pinning for since then?
Well, it didn’t take long. They settled for a deadline-bound
hot, torrid affair that can make you squirm on your seat. I loved it as much as
I loved the both of them fighting for their attraction. It was a sight to
behold, especially when the rest of the trips are teasing Brax. He’s such a
hard man, and with River Pearl, he turns a little soft.
But then there’s a terrible secret could ruin everything –
her family, her lineage and their reputation. It was enough to make your jaws
dropped and your heart palpitate a bit. What would River do with the secret? She
was torn in between.
It’s the epic ending to one of my favorite series, and it
was worth the wait to read Braxton’s story. He was gruff, she was sweet – they
were the perfect together. But they have to go through a lot before they
finally have their happy ending – starting with correcting history. No
questions were left unanswered, no doors were kept locked, everything was out
in the open. This ending for the Outlaw trips was worth the wait. I didn’t have
the heart to put it down, because you wouldn’t want to miss every page, every
secret, and every kiss.
