the question has been bugging me until I found some answers.
It should have been a temporary visit, at least a short

I mean who can resist a rich, handsome, and kind man? He’s
the total package! Not to mention, he’s completely smitten. One problem is
though – she’s running away from her dark, painful past, and it’s catching up
to her. She may have to run away again,
would Keri even listen to her heart even if it begs her to stay?
Kerri Wilson had me at awe – she was a superwoman! She’s
intelligent, beautiful, sexy, and the way she handles business – mesmerizing!
The scene was epic, and I was silently applauding her, cheering her, and was
really proud of the way she handled those men. Of course our girl isn’t
perfect, she’s with flaws I didn’t expect. Poor her. I was so curious who is
this person or thing she is running away from, and I figured, he must be scary,
or she must have owed him a lot – but once you get to meet this person at the
end, it gave me the biggest surprise of my life. Now that one I didn’t see
coming.
Kerri and Ethan are perfect for each other – both have
brilliant minds, with big hearts. You can feel the chemistry between the two of
them, the brewing sexual tension and not to mention the battle of wills. I was
so glad Ethan was determined and persuasive. Kerri was the biggest deal he made
in his entire life, and he will do everything to get that deal. His heart
depended on it.
How can you make something temporary permanent? How can
you make a person who wanted to go stay? The first thing that had me drawn to
this novel was the reunion plot – second chances are hard to find, and for them
to meet after years of being apart after that single night is fate. Then, the
characters – they were strong, stubborn and powerful people who has their own
problems. Money can’t buy it all – even families who have everything at their
disposal have skeletons in their closets. But LOVE – it conquers all, the
darkness of the past, the uncertainty of the future, and even the temporary
state of the present.
