Dahlia and River had that instant connection the first time they have met – but because of certain circumstances, Dahlia opted to run away. Now, years after their paths have crossed once again, and that powerful connection is still present and as if it had never went away.

Dahlia had experienced a deep sense of loss, and is just about to move on. She had been broken, and lost by a tragedy. But meeting him once again seems like fate is giving them another chance and her signal that it’s okay for her to love again.

The more time they spent together, the stronger their relationship and their connection becomes – Dahlia believed that she had finally found the one for her. She had already found the one she loved and lost him, is it possible that she can love again, and much more intense than the previous one?

How much time is enough time?

I like Dahlia – despite the fact that she had acted towards her attraction the first time they met, but decided to run away spoke a lot of her character. She ignored the connection and stick with her present. Her grief was quite long, and she had me worried. I was glad when she finally decided to live her life and take some risks – one step at a time.

As for River – HOT? That’s an understatement. He’s talented, rich, famous and valued his privacy. He’s sweet, and is not afraid to show or tell her how he feels about her. He takes care of her like she’s his greatest possession and will do anything to protect her.

I love that it has both POVs, or I’d be dying to know what’s running on River’s mind. The sudden twists and turns, the secrets and most especially all those steamy scenes will keep you turning from one page to the next until you finally reach the end page ---

The ending – OMG. I haven’t seen it coming. I think just as when my heart was coming back to its normal rhythm, it started to beat like drum rolls again. I immediately read the next book to find out what is going to happen next. Indeed, this is just going to be so exciting! What will happen to River and Dahlia next?

(Review of Torn will be posted shortly, still drooling over it...)

I live in Florida with my husband and four kids. I've always had a love for reading books and writing. Being an English major in college, I wanted to teach at the college level but that was not to be. I went on to receive an MBA and became a project manager until quitting to raise my family. I currently work part-time with my husband and full-time embracing one of my biggest passions—writing.
I wear a lot of hats! Writer, book-lover, wife, soccer-mom, taxi driver, and the all around go-to person of the family. However, I always find time to read. One of my favorite family outings use to be taking my kids to the bookstore or the library. Today, my oldest child is in college and my twins are juniors so they no longer go with me on these outings. And although I don't need to go to the actual store anymore because I have the greatest device ever invented—a Kindle, I still do. There's nothing like a paperback. So now my four year old and I make dates out of going to the bookstore--it's time I love and cherish.
I like to believe in soulmates, kindred spirits, true friends, and Happily-Ever-Afters. I love to drink champagne, listen to music, and hopes to always stay young at heart. <3
