Am I looking at a book with a man who is thirty years her senior? I was hoping not. But this is Sawyer Bennett, and she doesn’t write anything mediocre. The cover looks sweet, and the title interesting.
Sela Halstead is about to get her revenge. She was sixteen years old when the nightmare happened, and it continues to haunt her even now. She didn’t know the identity of her perpetrator except for the tattoo that is forever etched in her memory. The tattoo belonged to Jonathon Townsend, one of the millionaire founder of The Sugar Bowl, a website that matches rich older men with younger women. It was her obsession with revenged that had brought her straight into the vision of tech mastermind of The Sugar Bowl, Beckett North.
Beckett is the brain beneath the successful website. He gets what he wants in business and in bed – but he never mixes the two unlike his partner who has been causing a lot of trouble lately. And then here comes Sela that seemed to spark every fantasy he had. Despite how awesome the sex is, it was more than that for the both of them. But what if he discovers about her plans for revenge? Would it change everything?
It’s an amazing start to a new series. This was something different and like the rest of her books will hold your interest in no time. Sawyer Bennett knows how to stop your world and keep you glued to her book. Drooling, swooning and mesmerized with each page, and each chapter as the plot uncovers. This book has twists and turns that I never have imagined: some will surprise you, will anger you, or will break you.
Sugar Daddy ends with a powerful and heart-stopping cliffhanger, so you better hold on to your seats, and hope you are patient enough to wait for the next installment in the series.
