I was gifted with not just one! But 5 amazing short
stories from great authors. All were romantic, easy on the heart and sizzling
read. It is worth every penny, and just in time for the holidays! It’s the perfect
read during the cold days, curling up in the couch or bed, with some hot
beverage at the side.
In Jennifer Probst’s story – opposite attracts. They had
a history of verbal foreplay, and their paths had once again crossed. Will they
finally admit to their attraction? Or will they let their past dictate their
future?
In Emma Chase’s story – I love this version of the
classic “Christmas Carol”! It was after their HEA, a healthy dose of reality on
our favorite couple. Three unexpected women came to Drew and gave him a lesson
that he would forever remember. You will sort of hate Drew at the beginning,
but he makes up for it, and the scene was totally “awww”-moment.
Kristen Proby’s story – I had so much fun reading this
one as well. Grace Douglas was such a klutz, her friends set her up for a ski
tutorial, what she didn’t expect was to stumble into handsome, sexy, and
oh-so-rich Jacob Baxter. Oh, she learned more than skiing.
As for Nat & Hawk and the meddling old folks of Montana,
Melody Anne had me laughing out loud to. She started it with me grinning from
ear to ear, and ended it the same way, there were some minor dramas in between,
but nothing that could dampen your spirits. He was the local, and she was the
brand-new teacher, with a little pushing from every corner, Natalie found out
that it wasn’t just job that she found in the deep snows in Montana.
Kate Meader’s story might be the last, but the flames
didn’t burn down at all, it continued up to the last page. I love second chance
romance, and what could indeed be hotter than a firefighter? They had a past,
and he broke her heart when she was young, now fate had brought them together:
older, wiser and way, way different. They still had chemistry, and even I, from
where I am reading couldn’t deny it. Would they give their love a second chance?
I couldn’t pick a favorite! I love them all!!!
I felt all warm and fuzzy inside, with my heart jumping
throughout each stories, and my insides tingling with desire. This book can
flush out all the cold, and replace with comfortable warmth that makes this
book worth reading. Fast-paced, hot, romantic and sizzling read just in time
for the holidays – what more can you ask for?
