But then the moment I started reading it, I was hooked, swirling in the fast-paced, uber-hot, affair between Marcus & Katia.
To say Marcus is an alpha-male would be the understatement of the year. He had a strong personality, he loves control, he can be an a** but he knows how to deliver. He can consume you and make you putty in his hands. And he has some secrets, secrets he didn't want his wife to know. He can be confusing at times, and just when Katia thought they were okay, he's going back to his cold exterior, and gahhhd - he broke my heart in the end. It was devastating to watch Katia walk away and to hear those words coming out from him.
She started out as naive. It was like she was living in a bubble, she was happy and she makes excuses for the shortcomings of her husband. I admire her for making the most out of what was handed out to her, but hated the fact that she had settled for less. In the beginning, I thought she was strong and was ready to take on the world. So imagine my surprise the moment Marcus had her as his wife. Good thing she had redeemed herself in the end. I can't wait to meet her in the second book in this series!!! Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned! I wonder if Marcus is ready for her....
I love the roughness, the steam, the intensity and even the ice-cold emotions that sent chills right through my bones of 'Til Death.
