Fated For Love by Melissa Foster - Blog Tour, Book Review, Giveaway

Fated for Love
The Braden’s Series Book 8
By: Melissa Foster
Releasing July 14th, 2014
Librarian Callie Barnes has visions of reading and relaxing—and maybe having a few too many drinks—on her girls’ weekend away. Her hopes are crushed when her friends pull into a dude ranch instead of a spa, and she refuses to stay longer than one night. That is…until she realizes the ranch is owned by sinfully sexy, and dangerously rugged, Wes Braden—the subject of her late-night fantasies.

Fearless rancher Wes Braden thinks he’s the luckiest guy on the planet when the sweet, sexy librarian from his hometown shows up at his ranch. Their connection is white-hot, making it impossible for either to ignore their carnal desires. Wes is more than willing to convert sweet Callie from chick lit to a world of erotic romance, but Callie ties sex to love, and Wes avoids commitment like the plague.

Callie is thrust into physically demanding activities that ignite her deepest fears. Luckily, Wes is as tender as he is strong, and he’s there every step of the way to help her find her inner strength. With Callie’s influence, Wes might even discover that he’s been nursing a few fears of his own. Passion pulls Callie and Wes from their safe, comfortable lives into each other’s arms, and they’re about to find out just how alike they really are.

I was so happy to see another set of Bradens coming into these series. You can’t really get tired of these amazingly hot, sinful and sweet guys (and girl) around. Just like the previous Bradens (who were there cousins), these bunch were family oriented too. This is perhaps the reason why I am drawn to this series. Because more than just the romance and love story, Melissa Foster would stress the importance of family in each of the book she writes.

Callie Barnes lives a boring and mundane life in her new job as a librarian in a small town. Well, except perhaps during Thursdays when Mr. Wes Braden would grace the library and borrow the books she would pick. She loved her work, she loved books, - but when her friends invited her for a long, relaxing vacation at the spa, she was excited. Only that her dreams of relaxation were crushed when her crazy set of friends pulled down on a dude ranch instead of a spa. She decided to stay for the night, not longer than that. Until she knew that the ‘dude’ ranch was half-owned by Wes Braden himself.

Wes Braden, the sexy fearless rancher tries to reign in his attraction. He didn’t want to mix business with pleasure because it was bad for business. But when it came to Callie, he couldn’t help himself. It didn’t really help when she showed up at his ranch. Problem is, Callie connects sex to love, and Wes tries to avoid commitment as much as possible.

She wasn’t the adventurous kind unlike her friends who had grown up in ranches and farms. She can’t ride a horse, and afraid of heights. But Wes, and the rest of the girl have helped her overcome every single fear she has. And before she realized, she was having so much fun, and her heart was dangerously falling for the hot Braden man. It was just great to watch her finally step out of her comfort zone to try to do the things she was afraid of. Perhaps, it was Wes, or it was her being brave, and finally taking risk.

How could she not? How can you not fall for the man who makes fairytales come true? Melissa Foster, where can I exactly find this kind of man? Everything he does make me swoon. He wasn’t an a**, he has his faults in the past, but ever since he had laid eyes on Cal, he was a changed man. He does everything to make her feel safe. He does not only take care of her, but her friends as well. He’s one heck of a catch, and I like him tremendously.

You will just love Cal and Wes, I couldn’t help it. And of course, her set of friends, who were just wonderful as well. If it weren’t for them, and their ‘surprise’ – it would have taken forever before Wes and Cal would make their moves. This book was easy on the heart, and the perfect read for another one of those rainy afternoon. Melissa Foster knows how to tickle your hearts, and make you fall in love, one book after the other.
