“You need peace,” I murmured, “and you need storms.”
Hot chocolate, dangerous storm chasing, sizzling steamy scenes, a perfect heroine and not so perfect hero makes Break the Sky one interesting, intense and satisfying read.

The Scientist
She’s one of the brightest, and most promising in her field. But her tornado research has a bleak future, especially when not only that her funding has been pulled out, but she’s fighting conflict in her university department. Imagine what a bad day it must be for her, after all those bad news being thrown to her in one day, and wishing she’d have a good reckless night which might involve some dangerous stranger she came across at the bar on that night.

The Nomad
He came back, he didn’t know why exactly or what pushed him to come back and see his nephew, Nicholas – but Archer West couldn’t resist giving out a tempting offer to the woman with a blue streak on her hair and mesmerizing blue eyes. No strings, no commitment – just pure, plain sex – on the duration of his stay.

Kelsey tried her best not to surrender. She’s a professor, he’s fixing motorcycles. He was way beyond her, if she’d listen to her thoughts. But her lady parts were telling her otherwise. Because he can cause havoc inside of her that no ordinary storm can do. He knows which buttons to push – when to push it, and when not to. He understands her more than any of her friends and colleagues, and it is scaring her.

He may have been a high school dropout, but there was more to Archer that what meets the eye. He too has some skills (besides in bed) that can make up for his inadequacies. So don’t worry if you think he’s not perfect for our brilliant professor, because our professor too has a past.

She had lost control once, and she didn’t want to do it again. It had cost her something so valuable. She’s careful now, but how can she possibly stop what was brewing between the two of them? She had never felt more exhilarated her entire life, he consumes her.

But their past, their differences and private battles comes in between them – would their foundation be strong enough to withstand this storm or would they topple over it?

They were a couple you never thought would work. Their differences would have said it all. Nevertheless, they also say that opposite attracts, and watching Kelsey fight it, watching Archer fight for it – it was one heck of a sexy ride that have ignited my bed into flames.

This was my first Nina Lane read and I was hooked. It was steamy, it was hot, it was sweet, it was sizzling, it’s a different kind of romance of two very different people, who have met, weathered the storm and found their happy ever after. Definitely, Nina Lane got herself a new fan over here.
