This is the perfect summer read. Best Selling Authors all in one book, who’s not going to love that? I was given the opportunity to review Scarlett Metal’s Play It Again.

It’s about Kara, a city girl who’s on vacation in a small town, to help out to her aging grandparents. She met a small town boy JT, who works in his father’s machine shop and has grease on his hands all the time. But despite the differences, they were gravitated towards each other.

They were perfect together, but there is one thing though: she was about to go back to the city, and she was about to leave the boy behind. Would it ever work by then? Considering there’s the problem with her mom. Argh. Her mom was annoying, I didn’t know what went wrong with her upbringing, considering she has really kind parents. She’s a snob who thinks she’s too good for the town. Good thing her father makes up for her mother’s sharp words.

Just when you thought everything is perfect, since decisions has been made, a jaw-dropping twist came in at the end of the novel. Definitely a WTF moment that had made me crave for more!!!

Love indeed makes all the differences non-essential in a relationship. This is a story about two different people, finding each other in the most unexpected way. I love the fact that it was a short, sweet, and hot read.
