Releasing October 28, 2015

Blurb
You fell in love with Blue Ryder and Lizzie Barber in Seaside Summers, now follow their journey to find true love in SEIZED BY LOVE, the first book in the Ryder series.

Lizzie Barber runs a successful flower shop by day and secretly hosts the Naked Baker webcast at night to help pay for her younger sister’s education. To keep friends and family from finding out about her sexy secret, she’s put her social life on hold until her sister’s education is paid off and she can stop filming the webcast.

Blue Ryder fell hard for Lizzie Barber when he met her a year ago, and he hasn’t been able to get her off his mind since. Everything about the feisty little brunette, from her tight bod to her seductive smile, cuts straight to his heart. Though Lizzie has turned down every invitation he’s extended—Blue is not about to give up trying.

Renovating Lizzie’s kitchen brings Blue further into Lizzie’s life, and the oven is not the only thing heating up. One night and one powerful kiss changes everything. But when Lizzie’s secret is revealed and the safe bubble she’s hidden in shatters, true love may not be enough to put the pieces back together.

THE RYDERS are the newest addition to the LOVE IN BLOOM series by New York Times & USA Today bestselling and award-winning author Melissa Foster. This 5-book hot contemporary romance series features alpha male heroes and sexy, empowered women. They’re flawed, funny, passionate, and relatable to readers who enjoy new adult romance, contemporary romance, and women’s fiction.

I fell in love with Seized by Love the moment I get to read an excerpt from the last Melissa Foster book I have read. It piqued my interest, never really believing that Lizzie got that in her. Oh yes, I was excited to see the other side of this wonderful, amazing and good girl.

And when I say other side, it’s the kind that would make your jaws dropped and eyes wide. Oh yes, because our good-responsible-and-hardworking girl right here is the Naked Baker herself. But what made me love Lizzie’s character is the fact that she runs the sexy webcast not for herself, but for her younger’s sister education. No one knew about it: not her friends, most especially not her family. She promised herself she’d stop once Maddy is done with school.

She built walls around her, to protect her heart and most especially her secret. Even though she wanted to be with Blue, she refused his invitations. She just knew that once she says yes, she’d fall right into him.

Blue already fell for Lizzie Barber the first time he saw her. He didn’t know the reason behind why she refuses him. But he never gave up. They were still friends, and every time she needs him, he was just a phone call away.

And when FINALLY Lizzie said yes, he couldn’t believe his luck. He was going to do everything to make her feel and see that they were perfect for each other. He was ready for Lizzie Baker, but was he ready for her secrets?

Two of the most important ingredients in a relationship are honesty and trust. I may not have agreed with Lizzie keeping it a secret from Blue, but I understood her reasons. It wasn’t easy for her, but it was necessary. She wanted nothing else but for Maddy to finish her education without suffering financial problems the way she did. Somehow, this had justified what she was doing. As for Blue, it was heartbreaking to see his initial reaction, which almost had me hate him. One has to step back though and think from his point of view: love struck and he has waited for quite a long time to be surprised with her revelation. It took sometime but realized his love can overcome everything.

I love the ending. You can fell how much Blue love her, and is willing to do anything for her, even fix broken bridges to make her happy. It was such a beautiful, and touching scene that made this book even more perfect.

What to expect in a Melissa Foster novel: (1) swoon moments (2) a whole lot of romance (3) to-die for dialogues (4) heartwarming scenes (5) great family dynamics (6) interesting plot – and the first book in the Ryders Series has it all. Seized by Love was a great way to start a whole new branch of Lovers in Bloom at the same time the first book in the Ryders Series.
