Vital Rejects front guy Sebastian Tate never imagined his YouTube music video would go viral, sky-rocketing him to acting success in Hollywood. Okay, maybe he did. After all, he’s a cocky dude who knows he’s hot-as-hell, and it was only a matter of time before his stars aligned.
But life in Tinseltown is never what it seems.
After being cheated on, his only rule to falling in love is simple: Keep Calm and Don’t Do It. Spying on his mysterious new neighbor with binoculars seems innocent enough, but quickly escalates into an erotic game between two very unlikely people.
Twenty-year-old Violet St. Lyons is a world-renowned violinist who's lost her mojo on stage. She hides away in a Hollywood mansion, trying to find her way through her twisted past in order to make her future.
He’s the life of the party with girls chasing him down for his autograph. She’s the introvert with a potty mouth who doesn’t even know who he is.
When they meet, stars collide, sparks fly, and clothes come off. Yet, giving his heart to a girl isn’t Sebastian’s plan; falling for a guy who craves attention isn’t Violet’s.
Welcome to Briarcrest Academy—Hollywood style—where sometimes the best things in life are VERY TWISTED THINGS.

SHORT REVIEW:
Powerful and emotional tale
of love, loss, hope and second chances. It’s another favorite, something that
you can’t put down, something that will leave a mark on you and a book you
couldn’t help but love.
LONGER:
He’s making a name in the
music industry, and now, Sebastian Tate is making his way to the movies. But
first, he must subject himself to the “Hollywood ways”. He was fine with it at
first, but then he had not met the Violin Girl then. She was an enigma, and he
was transfixed every time she plays the strings. But he didn’t need any
distractions right now. He’s hot, and cocky and knows his way with women. He had
loved once and was cheated on, there was no way he would get his heart broken
again.
She knew loss. Violet had
witnessed it with her very own eyes. It has been years, but she didn’t know
where to begin to move on. Living alone, and away from everyone seemed safer.
She had lost everyone she love, she would not risk her heart or another life.
The anticipation of
whether they are going to do it or not, or are they going to be together or not
had kept the excitement going on through the pages. Their chemistry is
overwhelming and is crazy off-the charts. There were a lot of beautiful,
heartbreaking and heartwarming scenes that I have loved. You can’t help but
love every moment of it and get hooked with these two.
They knew of pain, of
loss and of heartbreak. Their journey towards healing was a rough with careers,
old boyfriends, fake girlfriends and some trust issues in their way. Will they
ever make it? Will they ever make it past their issues and realize that they
are meant for each other?
I have been a fan of this
series, and every book just got better and better each time. This time, Ilsa
Madden-Mills gives us another powerful and emotional tale of love, loss, hope
and second chances. You can’t help but feel the emotional and sexual current
flowing through each page. I love the game of anticipation, the thrill of the
chase and story of second chance. This is a must-read, must-one click and
another book you will surely add to your favorite list.
