Second Chance Romance has always been one of my favorite plots, and Alicia Rae had been one of my favorite authors since I started reading the Beautiful Series. In Fate of Love, we are about to meet new, amazing set of characters and not to mention see the old ones we came to love from her previous series.

How much can you endure for love?

Colton Kingston had loved no one else his entire life. Paige Summers had held his heart since he was young to know what he was feeling for her was indeed love. They were each other’s first. They had plans, they were so sure of their future, until one accident broke their world apart – causing so much pain for both sides. Paige had lost her dreams. She didn’t want to see the pity in the eyes of her parents and Colton, she decided to move away, leaving everyone and everything she loved.

She thought what she was doing was for the best. She can’t do what she does best, she knew she wasn’t the woman for Colton anymore. But can she ever let go of the love that she and Colton shared for so long?

You will like Colton. His love for Paige was certainly unquestionable, and for him to allow her to go away for that long was hard for him, and yet he allowed it. Not because he wanted to, but because she asked him to. When he finally decided that her time away is enough, he will do everything to have her again. This time, for her to stay forever.

What Paige did brought pain to a lot of people she loved, but I understood her. Her life was changing, her dreams gone bleak; she didn’t know what to do anymore. Nevertheless, she found another passion with her newfound life. It wasn’t the same as doing the one she loves, but it filled her time. When her best friend finally asked her to take some time off, and go home, she got a little apprehensive, will she be able to come home? Will she be able to face Colton again?

This is a story about love, second chances and surviving the odds. Paige is the woman who has lost everything, only to find it again through love, and for the man who is willing to fight and endure for true love.
