Just like their parent’s love story, I’m sure this will be hot, sexy & romantic. And I was not wrong. A little bit frustrated at first, but eventually everything played out like we all want and need it to. They have been destined to be together since they were young, despite the fact that they grew close to each other – their road to love was a long, and hard one.
How can Cohen Cage be so dense? How can he not know what Danielle feels when she was short of proclaiming her emotions on him?
But patience is a virtue – because she had been waiting her whole life for him. Until when, though? One thing I admire about us women is our patience and determination. It’s a blessing if men who are awfully blind with this sort of stuffs can see. But most of the times, they don’t or they just plainly deny the feeling.
So here comes Cohen, who is as hot, as nice, and as responsible as a man that you can easily fall in love with but IS AFRAID with his own emotion, of the repercussions, of the consequences. It wasn’t until the last minute when he actually (FINALLY, with all the relief sigh escaping from me) manned up and claim his girl. And oh-may-gahd: THAT WAS SO WORTH THE WAIT!
UNEXPECTED FATE is filled with steam, alpha males and to-die-for-romance. The plot might have been a little old and familiar, but Harper Sloan made sure it would still make you swoon and tickle your insides. It takes LDR into a whole new concept, I love that the people around them supported her. Being apart from your love one, and knowing that he is in grave danger everyday is quite hard. But having that fate that he will return and the support-system that surrounds you makes it all bearable.
Harper lives in small town Georgia just a short drive from her hometown of Peachtree City. She (and her 3 daughters) enjoy ruling the house they dubbed 'Estrogen Ocean', much to her husband’s chagrin. Harper has a borderline unhealthy obsession with books; you can almost ALWAYS find her with her eReader attached. She enjoys bad reality TV and cheesy romantic flicks. Her favorite kind of hero--the super alpha kind!
Harper started using writing as a way to unwind when the house went to sleep at night; and with a house full of crazy it was the perfect way to just relax. It didn't take long before a head full of very demanding alphas would stop at nothing to have their story told.
