Welcome to my stop on Addison Moore's Burning Through Gravity.
BURNING THROUGH GRAVITY—they soared so high so fast they never expected the fall.
Two beautiful souls.
Two seemingly innocent deceptions.
Once they meet, Stevie and Ford explode into one another in a ball of lust, hotter than a July moon. Ford is assertive, dominate and in control, that is until Stevie brings him to his knees. He thinks she’s the most beautiful woman he’s ever met both inside and out. Stevie thinks he’s sweet, and sort of goofy—of course it doesn’t hurt that he drips sex like honey.
Stevie is starting to fall hard for Ford.
And Ford is all in with Stevie.
She wonders if he could ever forgive her for what she’s about to do.
She wonders if she wants him to.
They say love conquers all.
But love never met two liars like Stevie and Ford.
His lie cost her a few sleepless nights.
Her lie will cost him everything.

Stevie is consumed with grief, years later, grief was
still consuming her soul. She lost one person that really meant something to
her. There are times when she wanted to just end it all, in one of these times,
her paths crossed with Ford. They were instantly attracted to each other, and
spent two lazy weeks together. Ford is a total alpha-male, and only Stevie
could bring him to his knees. They were good together, they complement each
other until reality sets in – and everything was not as it seems.
Things were pretty much complicated in their real world. Deceptions,
lies, corporate espionage, and a dose of evil queen kept the two love birds
apart, and they were just starting to fall. They were playing a dangerous game –
a lot were at risk. There were times when I’d wished, they’d call the game
over, and just be honest with each other.
Will their love be enough to survive what is about to
happen? Will the lies ever be justified? Will they risk their future for the
uncertainty of the present?
I loved this book, I love it’s emotions, it’s intensity,
it’s words. Most especially, I love the twist. Some would make you go crazy,
enough to want to get inside the book and smother someone, some would make your
jaw dropped, facepalming yourself, not realizing that it has been right under
your noses all along.
Addison Moore writes in a way that her readers would
experience the same intensity of emotions as much as the characters. Her words
were powerful enough to stroke emotions out of your limbic system, to swoon at
romance, to get hot during steamy scenes, to produce pain, to produce
heartache, and to feel that relief you get once you had your happy ending.
Burning Through
Gravity is a beautifully-written book, with a force pretty much like
gravity – STRONG, POWERFUL, and INEVITABLE.
