Alexa is an average college junior who’s attending regular classes, helping her dad co-pilot, not to mention she pilots Mile High Club charter flights which help couple spice up their sex life. AHEM. She didn’t have time to date, and but boys on the back of her head after the catastrophic breakup with her high school sweetheart. She plans on finishing school, and helping her dad. But then Drake Bennett came along. He wanted her. He will get her.

Drake Bennett –

SWOON!

He’s SUPER HOT with piercing stares, an irresistible alpha male who will surely be on your next book-boyfriend list. He transferred to Blythe College to join the varsity rugby team, not really looking to any college girl until he saw her! No one can REALLY resist him, until he met Alexa. He knew she was a piece of work, and he was willing to do labor if he can have her at the end of the day – and HAVE her, he will.

Alexa was one heck of a girl. I can’t imagine someone, much more a 20-year old girl would come up and stick with a business venture such as hers. It was a great idea to pay off for her college fees. I love her relationship with her father. She grew up a tomboy because it was just the both of them when she was growing up. He was protective of her, but pushed her to live freely. Although once somebody hurts his little girl, he would no doubt be fighting for her. Aubrey was a great friend as well, she was a ready-shoulder to cry on, her ultimate cheerleader and the one who’s determined for her to go out and enjoy her life. Their friendship was strong, and they knew what each other needed even without words. Then there’s Jackson – who’s story I would be looking forward to next time. The first time he gets into the picture – I JUST KNEW IT!!!!! Nevertheless, he gets to have his own HEA (I assume), and I will be waiting patiently for it.

Drake knew what he wanted, and knows how to get it. But one wrong move, had him in deep trouble when he accused Alexa of something she didn’t do. I wonder how he can possibly get out of it! I was just glad that Aubrey was there for Alexa, and Jackson made him see some logic before everything else goes to drain… and Sasha – don’t even bother about her… grrr

It is not just the uber hot steamy sex that made me like this novel, this story emphasizes the importance of trust and communication in a relationship. Loosing trust has brought a lot of strongest foundations down.

I had a grand time reading Push The Envelope. I have enjoyed and savored each pages from start to finish. If you find the cover HOT, the inside would be in flames!!!

5 Fun Facts

1: The Mile High Club flights were inspired by a Huffington Post article my teenage son shared with me. They are a real thing!

2: I drive past a small local airport everyday on my way to the office. There is a house for sale right next to it that I picture Alexa's dad living in.

3: Although Alexa doesn't wear heels, I love them! But I have a friend who cannot wear them or she will trip over something and this crept it's way into Alexa's character.

4: I am amazed by some of the estates for sale in Greenwich, CT and what you can learn about them online. Jackson's parents' home is so easy for me to picture because I based it off one that I found using Google.

5: Jackson's story wasn't supposed to be next, but he stole a piece of my heart in Push the Envelope and moved up the list.
I absolutely adore reading - always have and always will. My friends growing up used to tease me when I would trail after them, trying to read and walk at the same time. If I have downtime, odds are you will find me reading or writing.
I am the mother of two wonderful sons who have inspired me to chase my dream of being an author. I want them to learn from me that you can live your dream as long as you are willing to work for it.
When I told my mom that my new year's resolution was to self-publish a book in 2013, she pretty much told me "About time!"
