Blurb
An epic Frenemies to lovers romance.

Luke Caldwell has three abhorrent qualities to him:
1) He’s a pig-headed jock.
2) He’s a grade A asshole with the biggest, overbearing ego.
3) He’s a manwhore.

These three qualities alone should’ve had me running for the hills. I tried to steer clear of him, I really did, but it was an impossible feat. Luke Caldwell was nothing if not persistent and the way he bulldozed through my life, not taking no for an answer is proof of it.

I tried to stay away from him.

I wanted to hate him. But I couldn’t.

Luke was nothing like the idiot jock I pegged him out to be. He became a friend, a confidant, and after one unforgettable night, he became so much more.

Whatever this is between us, it’s impossible to ignore. I just hope when all is said and done, I won’t be burned by the college bad boy.

REVIEW
Rating: 5/5

This is my first read from this author, and certainly wouldn’t be my last. SM Soto knew how to push your buttons, and omg - I finished this book in one day, in the bus. So imagine me trying to just silently wipe my tears away and try not to cry out loud to scare the other passengers!

I loved Scoring the Quarterback, it has a familiar blurb, and might be a little cliche, but trust me - this one is different. This is an enemies-to-lovers story that would likely to make you swoon.
“Why the hell not? Girl’s practically s**t themselves when they see me. I wouldn’t be surprised if girls sold their souls to the devil for one night with me.”
Luke is the GUY. Yep, he’s the man! The guy who everyone wants to be friends with, and any girl wants to have. He’s the star quarterback in the university. He has the looks, the charms and the attitude. But he’s a manwhore, and everyone knows that. He’s intrigued with Natalia, but they say she’s off limits. Nevertheless, there was no way he was backing out from a challenge.

You’d adore Natalia! I love her, she’s a bookworm and smart. She’s determined, and nice. She’s the ‘good girl’ that everyone likes. She spends all her time between school and work, social life was not part of her calendar. She just wants to finish college, even without experiencing the “fun” that they love to talk about. Then here comes Luke, the charming, gorgeous Luke that everyone was talking about. He might be hot, but he’s annoying. She really didn’t want him - or so she thought.

I loove the banter between the two characters. It felt like a foreplay. It was fun, and witty. The chemistry between the two of them is combustible and the pacing was just perfect.

This was a slow-burning, sweet, sexy, amazingly wrote romance and a must- read.
“You know, I think it’s really chivalrous that you want to protect her from yourself,” she says making my eyes widen. What the hell?“But I also think it’s really f*****g stupid that you threw away the love of a lifetime because you were too afraid to take a chance.”
