Being bad never felt so good, in the third novel in Alisha Rai’s sexy Forbidden Hearts series!
Well-behaved women don’t lust after men who love to misbehave.
Heiress Evangeline Chandler knows how to keep a secret . . . like her life-long crush on the tattooed hottie who just happens to be her big brother’s friend. She’s a Chandler, after all, and Chandlers don’t hook up with the help. Then again, they also don’t disobey their fathers and quit their respectable jobs, so good-girl rules may no longer apply.
Gabriel Hunter hides the pain of his past behind a smile, but he can’t hide his sudden attraction to his friend’s sheltered little sister. Eve is far too sweet to accept anything less than forever and there’s no chance of a future between the son of a housekeeper and the town’s resident princess.
When a wedding party forces Eve and Gabe into tight quarters, keeping their hands off each other will be as hard as keeping their clothes on. The need that draws them together is stronger than the forces that should shove them apart . . . but their sparks may not survive the explosion when long-buried secrets are finally unearthed.

REVIEW
Rating: 4.5/5
Family Drama.
Family Secrets.
And finding love that has been standing there all along.
There is no boring moments in this family. There’s always some twists and drama involved that will keep you hooked to it. I think this is the last novel in Alisha Rai’s Forbidden Hearts series, and did she end it really well.
I have been looking forward to Evangeline’s story since meeting her in the first book. She’s the nice one. The quiet one. And you know the saying that smooth water runs deep, eh? Now, I was wondering who she really is and what can she do?
Our Evangeline has been crushing for a very long time on her brother’s tattoed hottie friend who thought of her as way to young for him. She didn’t say anything - after all, she was a good girl who obeys both her father and brother. But then, she quit her job with the company and tried things she never did before. Nothing can stop her this time to go after what she wants. Or so she thinks.
Gabriel has secrets. But what he can’t probably hide any longer is the fact that he was suddenly enamored of his friend’s little sister. Problem is, she was the forever kind of girl, not to mention he’s the help - how can a princess fall for him?
But when a wedding party allowed the two of them to spend some time together, the attraction sizzled. How far long can they keep their hands off each other?
The couple on the other hand - you’d like the both of them. Especially Evangeline. She’s pretty much amazing. I love how her character developed. From a shy, meek one - to a strong-willed and determined woman who was willing to take risk, not just for love but her life as well. She’s finally beginning to live her life the way she wanted it.
Their chemistry is there, and it was just waiting for the perfect time. And when it happened, it was just perfect. Until Gabriel decided that she was too good for him. Yikes!
Like the previous books from this author and series, I loved it. I love the family drama, which reminds me of primetime TV, but it wasn’t too much. Just enough to keep it all interesting, all the secrets that is looming above their heads and the anticipation of what is going to happen next not just to Evangeline and Gabriel, but the whole family.
