and we are coming back to the POINT...
Pre-Order: Amazon | Barnes & Noble | iTunes
In New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jay Crownover’s third novel in her sexy, thrilling Welcome to the Point series, a woman’s search for repentance leads her to the one man from her past she can’t forget as they join forces to save their city—and the explosive love neither can live without.
Titus King sees the world in black and white. Right and wrong. Which is why as a teenager he left behind the only family he’d ever known to make a better life for himself. Now a police detective in one of the worst cities in the country, he can’t deny his life has turned into a million different shades of gray.
The new criminal element in The Point has brought vengeance and destruction right to Titus’s front door, and the difference between right and wrong is nothing compared to keeping those he loves alive. To add to his already strained moral compass, the beautiful and mysterious Reeve Black has made her way back to town, and she might be as dangerous to Titus as the guy trying to destroy the Point because he needs her—in more ways than one.
Reeve knows all about how ruthless this new threat to destroy The Point can be… and instead of running away, she wants to help. She has a lot to repent for and saving the city, plus the hot cop that she hasn’t been able to forget might just be the only way she can finally find some inner peace.
With an entire city poised on the brink of war, Titus and Reeve stand in the crossfire—and it will take two brave souls to fight for the ultimate love.

"In this place you never know what pile of shit tomorrow is going to hand you, so having something that makes you feel good for even a second needs to be valued."
Will he sleep with the enemy? How can he trust someone
who did something awful to someone he cared about? Will she really help him? Or
does she have some hidden agenda up on her sleeve?
"She was going to be my downfall. She was going to be my corruption and my vice. She was going to be my addiction and my compulsion and I was still going to fall headlong into her knowing the landing was going to be rough for both of us."
Titus King is a good cop. He knows between right and
wrong, and is really, really good with his job. He tried so hard in getting
himself out of home when he was a teenager, left his family and made a better
life for himself. But being a police detective in one of the worse cities in
the country, the line between black and white, the good and the bad was
starting to blur and to turn to gray.
Now someone is out for revenge, and he won’t let anyone
come in his way. Not even this cop.
"I've been fighting every single day of my life. Sometimes I think all I have left is fight."
Here comes Reeve Black – she escaped the witness program
she was on, and went straight back to the only person she can trust: Titus. But
first, she had to convince him that he can trust her. That she was not going to
bring harm to him or to the people he loves.
He was torn, between trusting and pushing her back to the
Witness Protection Program. Reeve was the girl who seemed has the power to
bring him to his knees. She was dangerous, but he knew he needs her if he wants
to apprehend the person who was behind everything.
"I will make THIS worthwhile. I will make THIS enough until we can tackle more. THIS matters, whatever it is, and for now THIS is everything, okay?"
Reeve wanted nothing but to help, to make up for
everything she had done in the past. She had change, after everything she went
through. The only way to do this was to get help from the hot cop she couldn’t
get her mind off.
Indeed, Jay Crownover brings us back to the Point. The
danger is lurking, adrenaline is pumped up and excitement is up in the air as I
read Titus story. The good cop and the bad girl – an interesting plot right
here that made me want to read this book. This is something to look forward to,
and finally I’m done!
I’ll have to say this one is another steamy,
action-filled, unexpected twists and unputdownable read from Jay Crownover. She
can seduce her readers with emotion-filled words and narratives that bring us
to the places she wanted us to be, dangerous places and situations that had me
on the edge of my bed, gripping my reader tightly and my heart hanging on by a
thread. It started with the prologue, and you can’t stop until you finally
reach the end.
"Love can really look strange in the Point. In fact, if you aren't paying attention you might miss it altogether because it doesn't look like love at all."
Jay Crownover is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Marked Men and The Point series. Like her characters, she is a big fan of tattoos. She loves music and wishes she could be a rock star, but since she has no aptitude for singing or instrument playing, she'll settle for writing stories with interesting characters that make the reader feel something. She lives in Colorado with her three dogs.
