New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy begins a sexy new contemporary romance series—perfect for fans of Christina Lauren and Emma Chase—that introduces three sisters born to wealth, raised to succeed, ready to love, destined to make waves.

I’ve moved through life doing what’s expected of me. I’m the middle daughter, the dutiful daughter. The one who braved a vicious attack and survived. The one who devoted herself to her family’s business empire. The one who met an ambitious man and fell in love. We were going to run Fleur Cosmetics together, Zachary and I.

Until he got a promotion and left me in the dust. Maybe it’s for the best, between his disloyalty and his wandering eye. But another man was waiting for me. Wanting me. He too has an overwhelming thirst for success, just like Zachary—perhaps even more so. He’s also ruthless. And mysterious. I know nothing about Ryder McKay beyond that he makes me feel things I’ve never felt before.

One stolen moment, a kiss, a touch . . . and I’m hooked. Ryder’s like a powerful drug, and I’m an addict who doesn’t want to be cured. He tells me his intentions aren’t pure, and I believe him. For once, I don’t care. I’m willing to risk everything just to be with him. Including my heart. My soul.

My everything.

HOW I WISH TO SEE VIOLET JUST A LITTLE VIOLENT.

She's prim. She's proper. Ah yes. A little boring.
She piqued my curiosity, wondering what is underneath. What can burst her little bubble and made her do something out of the ordinary?

Well, it took one final straw from her supposedly boyfriend, and one sinfully hot office executive: Ryder Mckay for her to get out of her comfort zone - and I was in awe of her change.

It wasn't sudden, it was gradual. The anticipation that was build up was so rich, I was soooo eager to finally see how they will come together. Ryder sure knows how to make his lady wait, and how to take his time.

IT WAS SO FREAKIN WORTH IT.
I forgot how it started when he was doing what he does best - seducing, teasing and kissing.
I forgot that it was all a lie.
I forgot that he had some ulterior motives.
I forgot that he was a player.

Because at times, he forgets it too.
When he's spending time with Violet, nothing else matters.
They can talk as well as they can kiss. They enjoy each other's company.
Sparks were definitely all over the place.

Until reality speeds up to them and slaps them right in the face, and everything just crumbled.

Sometimes you will hate Ryder, he's one step down that a**h*** step from her ex boyfriend. I hated the fact that he can be hot, then cold. He can be sweet and then act as if there was nothing between the two of you...

Would just love to do this to him at times...

He did awful things then just say sorry about it (no complains about the make-up sex here). Argh.

Secrets, lies, sex, and dangers: Owning Violet makes one interesting opening of Monica Murphy's new series. The pacing was just perfect, the plot is interesting and the sexy scenes will GET YOU OFF your seats.

One of the most fascinating parts in this book is meeting her sisters. It got me excited of what is to come... (they are just sooo different from each other).

There are questions that aren't yet answered in the first book that I am hoping to find in the next book - especially when it comes to their father's love life (this got me so curious on how things will come about)!
