I’m so fucking pissed off that she would do this to me.
I really thought we had something, but instead, I’m left feeling like an idiot.
All I want to do is go back home and forget the last few weeks ever happened, but I’m stuck in this stupid country teaching tennis to spoiled rich kids who care less about playing than I do.
All I want to do is forget about her.
But things are never that easy, are they?
My Review
So, the heartbreaker got his heart broken by the end of first
book. I didn’t see that one coming. I was hoping for a happy ending. For things
to work out between the two of them, but no. Missy Johnson has other things in
mind.
Now, he was forced to stay in the US due to some contract, had
to endure training a brat – which if I were to ask was his mini-me female
version, and I like this young tennis player who speaks her own mind and can
render our guy speechless.
I knew there was something fishy going on – but I didn’t realize
the gravity of it. There was danger lurking in the corner, and all Scarlett
wanted to do was to protect her boy, and Ryder. He didn’t need her drama. But
seeing him hurt had haunted her – and she knew she needed to explain. If she
had only told him the truth first hand, it would have saved her all the
trouble.
When he finally realized what was going on, he knew he needed to
do something. But that something could be a double edged sword (I hope he
really thought about it). Ryder would do anything to protect Scarlett and her
boy.
The excitement is just getting started…

The Author
Missy lives in a small town in Central Victoria with her husband, and her confused pets (a dog who think she’s a cat, a cat who thinks he’s a dog…you get the picture).
When she’s not writing, she can usually be found looking for something to read.
