Arie has been in love with Wes since forever. He was her brother's best friend. One of the popular guys in school, and she was just Aria, the art geek. She gave him everything. But things happen, and they went off their separate ways. With a broken heart, she pursued her arts. She didn't realize she'd see him again.
This time, he was saving her best friend's life.
The circumstances might be unfortunate for their paths to cross again, but Wes made a mistake in the past, and there was no way he was letting go of Aria this time. He had waited so long to finally have her, and now she's right in front of her.
I love how the two came back together again. It took a lot of convincing for Aria (thank goodness). I love Aria's friendship with Josh and how they were there for each other every single time.
I always love reading about love and second chances, and this one made no difference. Let's add up a bit of mystery makes The Edge of Forever a nice read.
