REVIEW
Rating: 4/5 Stars
Lainey is about to leave Melbourne to have that chance of a lifetime elsewhere. But before she goes, she did something she won’t normally do. She transform herself, sneak into the season’s most sought after masquerade ball and finally get the attention of the man she has been lusting for secretly all her life, her bestfriend’s older brother, Damian McKnight.
Damian has been burnt before, and he wants nothing but revenge. He has no time and no interest in love anymore. Lainey was totally off limits. All was supposedly business when he attended the masquerade ball, until he bumps into a lady who didn’t want to tell her name and take her mask off. It made the night more interesting.
What happens when the masks gets thrown off, and the truth will be revealed?
I enjoyed reading Unmasked. It was easy on the heart. Loved the mystery that the masquerade brought and how everything fell into place. The character development was great as well. I was glad both of them get to do their things, and didn’t give up anything but still got their happy ending.
Unmasked is a short, sexy and romantic read.
