Review:

Brooke Stewart works in a real estate company. that seemed to have overlook her capacity as an agent. But she still strives to be the best, and maybe someday she'll have enough experience to finally quit the company and get a job in a larger firm. Only that the company beat her to it, she was fired and was asked to report in a larger firm. 

Everything is just wonderful since it has been in her dreams - only that Brooke felt like she had slept her way up the corporate ladder - because her boss is no other than Jett Mayfield - the guy she woke up with in her bed naked one drunken night she was out with Sylvia. 

In a daze, she had found herself on a plane to Italy, on her first day of work where they were about to spend two weeks alone!!! Oh yes, it was all about work - but two weeks with no mediator in between them, their sexual tension is about to explode! Jett offered her a Consensual Sexual Acts and Confidentiality Agreement (CSACA) - yes, I have to Google it too. Two months of pure, unadulterated, mind-blowing sex with no strings attach. Could she possibly handle it??

Brooke has always been sensible and has a good head on her shoulder compared to Sylvie. But the good head fell off when she met Jett. She was not the type of person to do relationships due to her past that she preferred to keep to herself. 

I don't do relationships because I don't want to love and lose myself. 

Jett Mayfield.

He was dazzlingly gorgeous. Forget gorgeous. He was beautiful. Utterly, totally, mind-blowingly stunning. On  a scale from one to ten, he was a hundred. 

The words says it all. He's sinfully beautiful and rich. I do love his humor and innuendos often thrown at Brooke. He's the perfect prince charming, however, this Greek God has his own secrets and agenda.

Everything was just about sex until they fell in love. But will deception and secrets surpass their newfound feeling for each other?

Everything has to do with those amazing boots! The cover is sexy - so I expected something sexy and alluring which I wasn't disappointed. It exceeded my expectations. - UNTIL I reach the end page - then I was like...

To End

J.C. Reed did a good job - she got me hooked. I spent the wee hours of the morning reading. I was eager to finish the novel in one sitting, which I did. 

What I love: ♥♥♥

1) The steamy scenes: the teases, the foreplay, the club scene, and sex in the office: totally hot, hot, hot.

2) The twist - I sooooo didn't see it coming!!!! It surprised me, it made me grasp my kindle way too tight: it's like: Oh my gahhd! What's going to happen now type of reaction. 

And I felt my heart plummet after reading the last page. It was like I was climbing up the hill expecting a perfect view only to realize that it was blocked. Yes, it ended with a cliffhanger - the kind of cliff hanger that will leave you insane because you thought you are just about to read the resolution of the story. The excitement suddenly tripled as I anticipate for the next book which is set to be released June 1, 2013 - eons away!!
