It’s a sexy story of revenge and getting even.

Another hot Powers brother to fall in love with, but apparently not for Simone. Oh, she used to like him. They used to be best of friends, but after what happened: the humiliation she had experienced because of him, she wants nothing from him.

Until someone encouraged her to get her revenge: I didn’t know whether I’d love her best friend, or strangle her for getting that revenge thing into her head. The idea didn’t take long though, because the Loch that she was seeing right now was way different from who he used to be. He was sweet, caring and fun to be with. How can she possibly plot revenge against this guy?

As for Loch, he’s pretty much amazing. Yes, he wasn’t that great when he was young, and he was such an a**, but he made up for it big time. Despite the fact that he can have anyone in his bed, he senses something special and different from Celeste. He was determined to have her, and there was no stopping him. But what will happen when he finally learns of her secret and her scheme for revenge? Will he be as forgiving?

It was a fast, sweet, sexy and entertaining read that kept me up until the wee hours, although I must admit, it would have been grand if we get to know Loch a bit more. Nevertheless, we get to read a whole lot about Simone, how she battled her past, her broken heart and insecurities.

I enjoyed every book in this series, although I started this one, (you can read these books individually but trust me when I say you should read every book in this series so you won’t miss any hot Powers brother!).

I didn’t start reading this series with Gable, but the moment I finished Loch, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the other books in the series. Gable is your usual alpha-male bad-boy who knows he can have any woman he wants and is not ashamed to flaunt it – that is until Scout came into his life.

As for Scout, she just wanted to have a normal college life without distractions, but how can she when Gable was everywhere she turned. It all started with the pen-pal thru email project they have going on. It started innocently until it gets heated at some point. I think both of them have inkling that they were emailing each other. I had fun reading through their exchange, now if only they had more dialogues than email exchange, it would have been a greater read.

Their pasts have prevented them from truly being with each other, but I was glad all went well in the end. It’s a short and steamy read that I finished in one sitting!

I do like Zeke better than Gable. I think he’s my favorite Powers brother so far. Once again, I finished this book in one sitting. Who doesn’t love an alpha-male with a sweet side? Certainly another book boyfriend material right our midst. I love her determination to have her, once he saw her, he just knew she was it. Scarlett just needed some convincing.

As for Scarlett, our girl has some baggage. She can be frustrating at times, but my heart still goes out to her. Her strength is admirable. She has a lot on her plate, and adding Zeke as dessert: I’m not sure if it’s healthy or not at first. But in the end, it was exactly what she needs.

This one is another fast, sweet read added to my READ shelf. Like the rest of the book in the series, I was entertained and I loved it. Looking forward for Ryker’s story!
