Raelyn is a
very, very strong woman. To survive what she had been through was such a
miracle and a blessing. Now, she was trying to live her life and managing a
prestigious account firm. Her heart is surrounded by a barrel of steel, she
will no longer risk it. Her previous relationship ended up with her heart
breaking. She was still consumed by fear, she didn’t know what the future
ensures.
As for
Damien, he’s a hottie: a tortured hottie with a whole lot of baggage from his
past. He is successful businessman who knows what he wants and does everything
to achieve it. He is covered with tattoos that spoke about his secret. Stuffs
that I was dying to know about.
Damien has
been working with Raelyn’s company for a long time but they haven’t crossed
paths until now. And despite the fact Raelyn’s heart was surrounded by steel,
she couldn’t help the attraction. No matter how hard she try to avoid him,
Damien is determined and persuasive enough to have her.
There was
chemistry, there was steam, there were explosions and some of them didn’t come
from the bedroom, instead from the twist and turns of the plot: surprising, exhilarating,
and heart-stopping. Characters were well-thought of, well-developed and really
strong ones. Although I wished it was more of a dual POV, I’d love to be inside
Damien’s head.
Alicia Rae
did it again. I didn’t realize I was in for a second book until I was almost at
the end (yep, I was still hoping for some mercy right there). It was an
emotional ride right from the start, down to the very last page. It had kept me
up in the wee hours, trying to keep up with Raelyn and Damien.

and second chances – Tattooed Emotions is a whole new thing coming from Alicia
Rae. If you think you have read it all, give this book a chance and I am sure
you won’t regret one-clicking it.
