Book Review
After days of waiting, the final installment of Marlo and Ray’s story of love, revenge, and second chances is here. I must admit, I was wondering how the story will end, and what other surprises RVD might have in store for us.

I have enjoyed this series thoroughly and emotionally invested on both Marlo and Ray, their past, their present and hopefully their future. It was like them against the world, and against themselves. They have many unresolved issues, some of which have been addressed in the previous books. But they still have some remaining.

What I love about this book? Besides the amazings secondary and support characters that they have - RVD made sure that we never get bore. That this series has more to offer, more surprises to get us off the edge of our seats, more secrets to unravel, and the question of are we going to finally have our HEA lingers, until the very end.

I like this book because they finally tried to start out as friends. They still have the intense chemistry to begin with - it didn’t falter a bit. But they refrain from getting on with each other, and established friendship. Question is that - how long can they take it?

Marlo did something for Ray to finally put her past to rest. It might have come as unexpected, but Ray needed it. She needed to exorcise the demons from her past to live her present and anticipate her future.

I love the drama, the romance, and even the dance routines. This series never failed to surprise me and to make me want more. I am happy on how it ended, and all the events that came down to the ending. Emotional yet sweet, devastating, and yet heartwarming. This book will give you the feels, and everything you need in between.

5/5
