New York Times bestselling author Catherine Bybee delivers the fifth heartwarming, flirty novel in the wildly popular Not Quite series.
Mary Kildare knows how to read people. It’s both why she makes a great therapist and why she refuses to trust the average bachelor. Staying fiercely independent has been her primary relationship strategy—until wealthy playboy pilot (and commitmentphobe) Glen Fairchild reappears in her life. After a yearlong teasing tug-of-war, Mary and Glen test the waters of attraction, only to find that their physical chemistry runs deeper than flirtation.
At first, a bicoastal romance suits them both—especially since Glen can swoop in and whisk Mary away on one of his company’s planes. But no matter how close they get, they’re still three thousand miles apart. And when Mary’s life is threatened, Glen realizes the one luxury he doesn’t have is time. Can he close the distance between them before it’s too late?

I have always loved Catherine
Bybee’s books, and this one was no exception. Perfectly paced and crafted, Not Quite Perfect takes you into the
journey of Mary and Glen to their happy ever after. The couple already met
previously, and they were already attracted to each other. However, Mary was
more into the “forever” type, and Glen was exactly the opposite of it. He was a
player through and through. Nevertheless, he proved the readers wrong, as page
by page he charms not only Mary but the readers as well.
What started out as a
first date for the both of them, turned into second, then third, and Glen sure
knows how to plan his dates. From a player, and an arrogant a** - Glen turned
into the perfect prince charming. But is he ready to risk his heart and believe
in “forever?”
Mary is a great heroine.
She’s fiercely independent and takes crap from no one, even from Glen! She had
been through so much, and has worked so hard to be where she is. She has built
walls to protect her heart. Will Glen be the one to break those walls?
Just like the rest of
Catherine Bybee’s novels, this one was a great read. Not Quite Perfect is a
perfect mix of fun, emotional, heartwarming and romantic storyline, amazing
characters and a great plot, wrapped in one beautiful package.
