Her sisters have found wedded bliss with their wealthy, wonderful dream men, but not Julietta Conte. She’s stayed on terra firma as top executive of the family’s corporation, La Dolce Famiglia bakery. Work is her passion, and her trendy Milan apartment her sanctuary . . . until Sawyer Wells, a masculine masterpiece in a suit, lures her out of hiding with an irresistible offer: an exclusive partnership with his international chain of boutique hotels.

Julietta’s been burned before—and trusting her brother-in-law’s friend, whose powerful gaze alone has her
rethinking the best use of a conference room, is the riskiest proposition. But with a once-in-a-career chance to take the bakery global, will she mix stone-cold business with red-hot seduction?

I have read every single one in the series and so far I have never been disappointed in reading Ms. Probst's Marriage to a Billionaire Series and my excitement grew when I received my ARC copy from Netgalley!!! I don't have to wait that long for Julietta's HEA.

The book of spell is now in Julietta's hands, but being a pragmatic person -she wasn't really into witchcraft and didn't believe in it. But persistent calls and messages from her sisters finally made her do it - reluctantly of course. She made her own list and ahem - cast a spell. I always wanted Julietta's HEA, because a woman who works her ass off and sacrificed a lot for her family deserves a man who would love and cherish her. But she's too busy to find love, or even go on a date. Good thing fate found her. Her character  finally took the courage and fought for her feelings. Somehow, she had overcome her fears at the beginning of the story.  I like her strong character, her determination, perseverance and most especially her courage to fight for Simon. Because loving someone who doesn't believe in love takes a lot of work and effort.
I love you. Deal with it.
We have already met Sawyer in the previous book - this mysterious man with a scar on his face owns hotels all over the world but wanted to set up his own luxurious chain with exclusive and high class amenities. He's hot, haunted, scarred. He needs to be in control - of just about anything. He has been through hell and back, kept his past to himself and preferred to leave it that way. He wants his relationships brief and casual until Julietta came along. This strong woman who managed one of the best bakeries in the country awed him at first sight. One look at her, and he knew what exactly she needs - HIM.

Then there's Wolfe - Simon made him his apprentice after they met 'accidentally'. He's smart, mysterious and has a lot of issues as well. He prefers to hide underneath his body piercings and Mohawk. I wish he too would have his story to share!!!

Mama Conte - what a devious- manipulating-adorable-simply-the-best-in-the-world-mom who only wants the best for her children, including giving them a hand (with or without their permission) in finding their respective partners. She's insightful and perspective and can see through everyone, including the secretive Wolfe.

I enjoyed reading the novel - not just the steamy parts (light BDSM - thank goodness) that will make your jaws drop and will have you swoon with envy; but I also love the set of characters in this book - their struggles in overcoming their past, their development throughout the book, I just love watching them finding piece within themselves and finally their happy ending.

The Marriage Merger is something you would not be able to put down. It's sensual, enticing, filled with emotions that will not overwhelm you but will just give you something to look forward to for a HEA. This is a story about love and fighting for it, how it is to be a family, and most especially letting go of the past. :)

Jennifer Probst - can we have Wolfe's story next???
