Love Online Ebook
Synopsis:

From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward, comes a new, sexy STANDALONE novel.

We met in the least likely of places. It started out innocently enough. I was “ScreenGod” and she was “Montana,” but of course, those weren’t our actual names, just the virtual cloaks we hid behind.

Logging in at night and talking to her was my escape—my sanctuary.

Her real name was Eden, I’d soon come to find out.

From the first time we connected online, I found myself transfixed.

She was an addiction.

At first, we knew nothing about each other’s real identities…and she was adamant that we keep things that way. Anonymity had no effect on our unstoppable chemistry, though. If anything, it allowed us to open up even more in ways we may not have otherwise.

Eden was funny, intelligent, gorgeous—everything I’d ever wanted in a woman.

But I couldn’t really have her.

I had accepted things would have to stay the way they were—until the day I found a clue that led me straight to her.

So I took a chance.

And that was when our love story really began.

Book Review

4/5
Life takes you in unexpected directions. There's good, and there's bad to that. Sometimes on a detour, you find what you need in the least likely of places. And then you wonder if that was the direction you were always meant to do.

I think a whole lot can relate to this, not necessarily to the characters, no, but the way they met. Online. It's the thing nowadays - busy schedules, availability of technology and the thrill of anonymity.

Ryder is bored with his life. He's meeting the same people who wants nothing from him but money and the strings that he can offer them. Out of sheer boredom, he went online and was transfixed with the girl who plays the violin. It was a familiar song that tugged his heart. He started talking to her as "ScreenGod", and she was just "Montana". She's beautiful, and she's interesting. For the first time in years, someone caught his attention. Someone who doesn't want something from him but conversations.

Daily conversations made them closer, until one day - Ryder decided to see her. He took the chance, and he wasn't prepared for Eden. The woman behind the camera and the facade that she shows her audience. Somehow, she was way different than what he expected, but in a good way.

Eden does what she does because she needs to, not because she really wanted it. When she meets ScreenGod, she didn't really expected for him to come to her. Not when she tries so hard to maintain her privacy. How can she not easily fall for him when he says and do all the nice things for her? Not necessarily promises them, but he was open to possibility and yet maintain the reality to take their "relationship" one day at a time.

Will their love story survive? Or will it end before it even begins?

There were loads of scenes that I love, but those that especially that involves Eden's brother. I love how Ryder was patient, and how nice he is - not only to Eden and her family, but to everyone as a whole. He's entitled, but so down to earth. Eden is easy to like. She's down to earth, and she will do anything for family.

I love how the story progressed. It was smoothly paced, just enough time to build the anticipation between the two characters, and until finally having been able to meet. Love Online is sexy, sweet and heartwarming. It's a story proving that you can find love where you least expect it.
