Nathan is a powerful man in the most romantic city in Europe, Paris. He’s a dream: rich, good looking and has a very lucrative job. Being an owner of a very successful record company, he should have everything. But even the man considered to be the Playboy of Paris has something missing in his life. Until he meets Lily in the most devastating circumstances.
Lily escaped her life, and tried to built a new one in Paris. It was supposed to be a fresh start, away from the life that wounded her, and made her fear of just about anything. Paris seems to be a good idea - with her brother and his fiancee, she’s trying to help them open up a rumored haunted theater by finding talents for its opening night.
I like the both of them - Nathan is a great man with a humble past, he has his secrets and mystery, and it would cost him Lily if she knows about it. Lily, is courageous - leaving home and starting from scratch is difficult, especially with what happened to her.
Fighting Gravity is a nice read, told in both POVs. You get to go inside Lily’s and Nathan’s thoughts. Romance and steam is just perfect, the dash of danger mixed in well with everything. The chemistry is impeccable, and I was just glad they they held on to each other. I love how the story progressed, and how everything came about. Simple, not so much drama when it’s not needed.
