The first time Noah Wilson saw Lauren, he was already mesmerized by her. She was everything he wasn’t. He was nothing but trouble, at a young age, he already has a chip on his shoulder. And her? Besides being his best friend’s sister – she was too good for him. So instead of pursuing, he left her alone.

Years later, while Lauren was busy waiting for the reply to the vet school she was applying to, Noah was still busy making trouble. One bad date led them to each other’s arms one night. Lauren was a dreamer. She wanted a prince charming and a happy ever after with someone who would slay dragons for her. Would she ever settle for this bad boy?

You can’t deny that there was already attraction brewing between the two of them. Nevertheless, they allowed their relationship to grow as they get to learn more about each other. Noah still has some issues concerning his past, his childhood and his parents – and getting him to open up was pretty much hard when it comes to this topic. But besides that issue, you can certainly feel how much he wanted her in his life, and how much he wanted to show her that he was worthy of her. That alone made me fall for him.

I enjoyed reading this story, and finished this in one sitting. Clearly, their love story didn’t really started out right, the journey was a bit bumpy ride – nevertheless it was a memorable, sweet ride that will melt hearts.
