Years ago, Jenna and Tanner were the IT couple. Jenna was a model and Tanner was an upcoming actor who just got his big break. But things went south, and they went on their separate ways. Now, Jenna was again forced to see Tanner because of a movie that may helped her career. After years of trying to get in the movie industry, this was her chance to finally make it. She’s a big girl now, she can handle Tanner.
What she didn’t expect was the exact same chemistry that they have back then. Tanner was still stunning and still has the power to turn her world upside down.
What I least like:
The reason why they broke up the first place. I understand they were kids then, but it was more of a miscommunication issue that can be solved with a simple phone call or a short talk. Nevertheless, they both have their reasons why they finally let each other go. But still. (LOL)
What I love about this book:
The fact that it’s a second chance romance. We get to see some back stories, and even then you’d really know how much they care about each other, and how sad it was to let the relationship go. The pacing of the story. The chemistry between the two characters, it was just as explosive as ever. When they finally decided what they have was worth the fight (yeah, when they both decided to grow up). I love her best friend. It was just hilarious.
I enjoyed reading One More Time. I have always loved second-chance romance and this was just hit the spot. It was sweet, steamy, and fast-paced with characters you will fall in love with. Laurelin Paige sure knows how to make her readers squirm.
