Sometimes all a girl needs is a little practice...

It's been twelve months, three days, and eleven hours since accounting student Scarlett Logan made it past a second date. Finn knows exactly why Scarlett's boyfriends are disappearing quickly. Him. Not a single guy she's brought home is nearly good enough. And he'll be damned if he lets some loser give her "kissing lessons." No. He'll do the honors, thank you very much. The moment their lips touch, though, everything turns upside down. But Scarlett deserves the one thing Finn can't give her. And if he doesn't put an end to the sexy little shenanigans, he'll teach Scarlett the hardest lesson of all...heartbreak.

24683239

Cassie Mae’s charming, sexy new novel, perfect for fans of Emma Chase, puts a steamy twist on modern love as one bride-to-be tries to put the spark back in the bedroom—by any means necessary.

Elizabeth Fanning’s life looks pretty perfect, judging by the diamond ring on her finger. Her fiancé, Landon, is sweet, handsome, and hilarious. The trouble is, before they’ve even tied the knot, their sex life has gone from mind-blowing to “meh”—and Liz isn’t ready to be part of an old married couple. After a cathartic call to her best friend, Liz comes up with a brilliant idea. She and Landon may never be able to re-create the magic of their first time, but how amazing would their wedding night be if everything below the neck was off-limits until then?

Liz thinks it’ll bring them closer together. Landon’s convinced she’ll cave first. So they raise the stakes: Whoever lasts longer gets to pick their honeymoon destination. With her heart set on the Bahamas and Landon fighting for snowbound Utah, Liz simply has to win. But pretty soon, her body is screaming for attention, and Landon’s never seemed so far away. Has Liz’s experiment backfired? Losing their little competition would be frustrating—but the one thing she can’t afford to lose is him.

Book Review | Everything I Left Unsaid by Molly O'Keefe (@MollyOKwrites)

25387181

Fans of Jodi Ellen Malpas, K. Bromberg, and Joanna Wylde will be unable to resist this sexy, deeply intimate tale of a woman running from her past, and the darkly mysterious man who sets her free.

I didn’t think answering someone else’s cellphone would change my life. But the stranger with the low, deep voice on the other end of the line tempted me, awakened my body, set me on fire. He was looking for someone else. Instead he found me.

And I found a hot, secret world where I felt alive for the first time.

His name was Dylan, and, strangely, he made me feel safe. Desired. Compelled. Every dark thing he asked me to do, I did. Without question. I longed to meet him, but we were both keeping secrets. And mine were dangerous. If I took the first step, if I got closer to Dylan—emotionally, physically—then I wouldn’t be hiding anymore. I would be exposed, with nothing left to surrender but the truth. And my truth could hurt us both.

Get ready for some seriously hot, sizzling read!

This one is new to me, but nevertheless, it had me hooked to the very last page and panting for the next one in the series. Molly O’Keefe gives her readers something different this time: the mystery, the steam, and the anticipation make this one a very unputdownable read!

Annie was finally free from her painful past, but she wasn’t clear yet. She had to be very careful. She dyed her hair and hiding in a Trailer Park. What she didn’t expect was to hear a cellphone ringing on her first day, and more so, talking to a mysterious stranger named Dylan. Her life just get a little more complicated and a little more interesting as their phone calls became hotter.

I can’t blame Annie from running from her past. After what she has been through with her mother, and not to mention her ex-husband, she’s one of those women who really deserve a happy ending. Nevertheless, I like the complexity of her character: she can be naïve, sweet and innocent at the same time she was courageous. Not only she was brave enough to run out from her abusive husband, but she was bravely crazy enough to allow Dylan (a total stranger) to help her explore her sexuality.

As for Dylan, I like the air of mystery that surrounds him. His alpha-male tendencies, being protective and all. The connection they have was intense and consuming, and it started over the phone. It was too hot that the lines were burning. But it was all there is, they might have that connection, but it never went over than just getting each other off via phone. Dylan was very clear that there won’t be more to them than what they already have. Everything was fine, as each conversation brings them closer to each other… Until Annie decided she wanted something more, but will the mysterious Dylan allow it?

The story is filled with secrets and mystery, with twists and turns that you wouldn’t expect. Each of the characters has their own stories to tell, which was pretty amazing. This book is a sexy and entertaining read. The ending had me groaning, with my heart up my throat. I couldn’t wait until November!!!!

Book Review | Burned Deep by Calista Fox (@calistafoxbooks)

23848335

Dane captivated Ari from the first moment their eyes locked. Every second thereafter proved they were either fated for love...or devastation.

It was a little scary how my body trembled and my breathing wouldn't return to normal. But I couldn't escape the intensity of our desire for each other--and how vibrant and alive he made me feel. Like I'd merely existed before. Gotten by. Now I was acutely aware of my surroundings. Of myself. Of him. Of every sensation blazing inside me...

Ari DeMille has spent her life focusing on the details and planning down to the minute. Haunted by her parents' ugly divorce, Ari believes the only way to prevent emotional scars is to always maintain control. But when the devastatingly handsome-and powerfully dominant-Dane Bax, her new boss, pushes Ari's boundaries, she must learn to shatter the ties that bind her if she is to sate her newfound desires... But giving into insatiable lust comes with a price. Dane's luxury hotel business is threatened by a consortium of dangerous men who threaten everything Ari holds close. And as the stakes are raised, Ari is treacherously close to losing all control of her life...and her heart.

My Thoughts: Dane was pretty much amazing, I love his alpha-male but sweet tendencies. He tends to be overprotective most of the time, but I adore the way he took care of his own. Ari, the girl he saved from unwanted advances, was his. He knew this the first time he saw her. There was chemistry and sexual tension between them. How I wish this was a dual-POV. It would have been greater if we get to be inside Dane’s brain. He has mysteries and secrets that surround him that you’d be dying to know.

As for Ari, I like her relationship with her father. But don’t ask me anything about her mom: OMG, what kind of mother does that to her child? Argh. This is the reason why she guards her heart and built walls around it. Sometimes you’d get frustrated with how the things were going between them because of her insecurities.

You get to meet some secondary characters whom you can’t help but love as well and plays a role in their romance.

Just like FSOG, the sex was pretty much off the charts. The steamy scenes were never dull from the start down to the last page. Although, I must admit it tends to be pretty much overwhelming.

Then the ending, I can’t believe how fast it wrapped up. It was almost rushed, and yet there are some things that were left unresolved which made me think there must be a second book sometime in the near future (*fingers-crossed*) because the mystery is killing me alive!

Recommended For: Loves alpha-male, steamy scenes overload and mysteries.
